Christmas after Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family and friends.  But we had more friends to have Christmas with after Christmas.  We celebrated with our best friends/cousins, Adam, Dianne and Caroline.  Then Ainslee (Garrett's "girlfriend" from church) came over to see him and then last week, Jennifer and Arleigh came by.  We are so blessed with friends and family.

Snow on Christmas Day and Apple Butter Toast

I think everyone was surprised and excited that we got snow on Christmas Day in Alabama!  We certainly enjoyed our white Christmas.  It made a special Christmas even more special.
On a funny note, Christmas Eve we were at Eric's parents.  Our nephew Trey was eating a piece of toast with apple butter on it.  The toast caught Garrett's eye and once it did, he wanted it!  He watched and got closer and closer until Trey gave him a bite.  Then it was over - the toast had to become Garrett's.  :)

 

Catching up with Christmas

Despite being sick for a few weeks of December, Garrett had a wonderful 2nd Christmas.  He wasn't interested in opening presents at first, but by Christmas night, he had the hang of it.  He still didn't fully understand everything but he knew that he had "new toys" by the Christmas tree on Christmas morning.  We enjoyed being with our friends & families and was really blessed that Daddy got to be off for Christmas this year.  That only happens once in a blue moon.  We were very busy from Thursday to Sunday trying to get all our activities in.  Hope you enjoy all the pictures.

 

 
 
 

Christmas is crazy at Papa's house

Better late than never

With Garrett being sick a couple of weeks in December, I got way behind on getting pictures made and getting our Christmas cards mailed out.  My process got reversed.  I sent Christmas cards out on December 20 and then we had Christmas pictures made on December 22.  :)  Oh well.......the first 3 pictures below were on our card.
